Loch Ettrick Loop

Direction: Either way, left at junction for more climbs.

Distance: 40 miles

The road ascends slightly all the way to Ae, hardly noticeable but you appreciate it on the way back. On the loop you are pretty much in the middle of nowhere, it's very remote with only the odd farm and cottage around. There's a lot hills, not too challenging but gratifying enough. For some strange reason this route's the only one my brother ever want's to go on when he's up for a road cycle.
